I was lucky enough to gain a spot in the Faculty Success Program from the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity though my university (CSUDH). I have taken part in many writing productivity courses, signed in to writing groups, read books, watched youtube videos and set up accountability meetings with friends. It may be the looming deadline of tenure + the amazing organization of the program, but I have taken my participation in the FSP very seriously. It’s only been 4 weeks and I already feel extremely tired, but have managed to mantain my writing routine daily and gained insights into my resistance monsters. It’s def. an expensive program, but if your university offers a way through, I highly recommend it! 🍎
I recently attended the IPSA NUS Summer School. I took an intensive 2-week course about textual analysis methods and suffered through it. However, I highly recommended if you want to begin or polish your text analysis research methods. Highly highly worth it! 🙂 Looking forward to apply everything I learned there.
